Cal and I have been talking a lot lately. We realized we've been here for roughly a year, and in that year, we've experienced some wonderful moments. A lifetimes worth, if you think about it. We fell in love, we got married. We're expecting our son. And while we love everything New Dodge has given us, we've realized our time here is...well, it's coming to an end.

[ It was rough of her to say, if she was going to be honest, and the smile on her face is just a little sad.]

So we've decided to go back to Auradon and continue our lives and our family there. It isn't a decision we came to lightly. We've been discussing it for a while, now. We love New Dodge, and all the people here. And we'll miss you all.

We'll be catching the shuttle in a couple hours, so please come by before we go. We'd love to see you all before we head home.

[ Evie turns off her TC a moment later, giving the camera a small wave before she does so. ]

With Sheriff Prince departing, I have been appointed the new Sheriff of New Dodge.

For those who don't know me, my name is David Loki and I have been a deputy here in town for over a year now. I'll do what I can to keep everyone safe and the town protected and don't hesitate to come to me if there's any trouble, day or night.

If you have any questions or concerns, go ahead and ask. I will continue to maintain the solid policing Sheriff Prince has done here over her time in the position.

Also, not that I don't love a clothes organizer- [Which she doesn't because she doesn't know anything about fashion and only has 2 outfits.] -but how do we know this is safe?

Are people forgetting about that weird message that went out? We never figured out where that was from and after that someone was killed and now... someone thinks anonymous is a good idea...

I'm just tossing it out there, that maybe its a good idea to say who you are or whatever you gift is getting throw away by those paying attention to the weird shit that is hanging out there. Unless someone has answers and I have missed it.

Consider this a PSA to those of you giving gifts.

[Outside each house/apartment/yurt is a small purple box. Inside the box is a metallic sphere that will start scanning a person once it’s picked up. It scans only the clothed or accessorized parts of the body and makes a not unpleasant whirring sound as it does so. Once it’s done scanning, it turns off unless it is picked up by another person.

A little research will indicate what it is, but there is no indication who it’s from.]

And then you have to do some tricky manoeuvres to get everything back to normal again. To get it to just how you want to be.

An Alternative to the Hopper

Good afternoon, New Dodge, this is Jemma Simmons and I would like to introduce you to a new piece of technology that will be made available to all citizens. Over the past year, Harry and I have been developing the Dimensional Elevator, or DimEle for short.

What does it do? It takes a person, or multiple people up to groups of ten, to pocket dimensions. Unlike the Hopper, that can take you anywhere and everywhere in time, the DimEle is limited to only 50 places, though only 13 have been explored by Harry and myself. Also unlike the Hopper, a group can stay up to 72 hours before the DimEle needs to return to New Dodge for charging. Only one group at a time can use the DimEle.

[The video switches from Jemma to a very Art Deco-looking elevator. It's larger than most elevators, and Jemma's clearly let Harry have his way with the gold and silver onyx covering the walls, floor and roof. The buttons are onyx with silver numbering and the interior is brightly lit. Beside the buttons is a list which reads:
I. Roller World
II. Titan World
III. Shadow World
IV. Television World
V. Anti-Gravity World
VI. Deco World
VII. Hell World
VIII. The Empty
IX. Cosmos
X. The Maze
XI. Dragon World
XII. Winter Wonderland
XIII. Water World

The feed switches back to Jemma.]

Hopefully the pocket dimensions are self-explanatory, though a couple of notes. The residents in Titan World prefer the term "Olympus." Also, Deco World, while it may appear like the lavish version of the 1920s and 30s, has far more dirigibles than the one from Earth. Finally, Roller World may look like a simple roller derby, but it is actually how that culture wages war so be careful who you run into.

As I said earlier, there are the availability of 50 different stops on the DimEle, and it's not that they are unavailable, just that Harry and I have not tested them, so explore at your own risk. If you do choose one of the other dimensions, Harry and I will happily add your description to the list.

One benefit of the DimEle over the Hopper is that there are no aftereffects which anyone who has suffered excessive mucus production or progressive skin discolouration after a Hopper trip should greatly appreciate.

In order to use the DimEle, you and your group must register with either Harry or myself, but as of now, reservations to use it are open.

My projects list is getting shorter, so should anyone want some custom made clothing, please let me know. Not only do I make clothing for special occasions, but day-to-day wear is also something I'm happy to create.

I've even taken a liking to making clothes for little ones, so if anyone wants me to make something for their children, I'd more than love to.

How do you be a regular person?

I mean, I spend most of my time doing my job or thinking about my job and I guess some people think that's unhealthy. Unbalanced. My captain back home would tell me to find fulfillment I should find a wife and have some kids.

But I don't know. I don't know what would bring me satisfaction. I've solved cases as a police detective and even then it never feels like I've done enough. I keep searching for something elusive.

[He sighs, rubs the side of his head and blinks three times in rapid succession.]

I don't even know what I'm asking. How does anyone find the right balance to live your life without feeling like you're missing something important?

Since I've finished installing the new security systems at the labs and I've also finished the most recent loveboard, I think we're going to have a party at the roller rink this weekend. So, come. She considers this her first official act in her new job.]

Hello, New Dodge, I’m Jemma Simmons and I’d like a few minutes of your time. As most are aware, the Doctor has left us and Harry Feynman and myself will be taking over as co-heads of the labs. Harry will be responsible for all tech-related projects, so if your area of expertise is tech, you will be reporting to him. I will manage all bio-chem projects. Any that may crossover will be alternated between the pair of us.

There will be new reporting measures to keep better track of a project’s progress. There will be weekly progress reports due each Friday from each project head. If you’re working collaboratively for a project, just decide between you who will submit each weekly report.

Finally, my co-head is working on the physical aspects of the biggest change to the labs, and that is security. As of this week, every staff member will be receiving a security card with lanyard, and having a retinal scan. Both will be need to be verified before an employee is permitted entrance to the labs. The retinal scan will also be used to gain access to your personal lab space. While Harry and I will have access to all parts of the lab, unless there is an emergency it is unlikely either of us will enter a workspace without permission. All new aspects of this security will be installed by Harry by the end of this week.

Guests at the labs will have to be signed in by a lab employee and will receive a visitor card and lanyard.

We’ve also hired three shifts of security guards so the labs are never left unattended. One will always be at the entrance to sign in and out lab employees and guests.

Harry and I have taken these measures to better secure the sensitive equipment and projects. There’s a lot of potentially dangerous items for those not trained in working with them, as well as projects meant to better secure the Haus of Cobra. It’s important the projects and materials remain safe and secure and we both found the previous security wanting.

The labs are an important part of New Dodge, both scientifically and economically so we thought all of New Dodge should be made aware of the changes. For those who work at the labs, there will be a new employee handbook explaining some new protocols regarding dangerous materials, organization of both supplies, and ordering, and report formatting, delivered to your TC later this week.

If anyone has any questions, I’d be happy to answer what I can that doesn’t compromise lab security.
